University of Curaçao
The University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez offers associate, bachelor, master, and professional programs across five faculties, empowering minds to shape the island's future since 1970.
About
The University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC) traces its roots to 1970, when its School of Law was established, followed by the Faculty of Engineering in 1972 and Social Sciences and Economics in 1973. It became the Universiteit van de Nederlandse Antillen (UNA) in 1979 and adopted its current name in 2013, honoring the visionary leader who championed a local university for the island.
Today UoC comprises five faculties — Social and Economic Sciences, Arts, School of Law, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Engineering — unified within one institute, offering pre-academic, associate, bachelor, master, online, and professional programs. Its academic community counts over 150 faculty members and more than 100 expert freelancers.
The university invests in innovation and academic quality through accredited programs, thematic centers, international partnerships including Erasmus+ exchange with Europe, and services ranging from library and research support to .cw domain registration — all from its campus at Jan Noorduynweg in Willemstad.
