The Curaçao Innovation & Technology Institute (CITI) is the spark in Curaçao's innovation engine — a center of excellence founded by the Ministry of Economic Development to inspire and stimulate innovation and the use of new technology. Under the motto "Ban Krea Nos Futuro" (The Future is ours to create), CITI promotes opportunities for Curaçao to become more creative, more competitive, more sustainable, and more resilient.

CITI is the place where innovative ideas are transformed into sustainable solutions. It supports innovation and digital transformation by connecting entrepreneurs, institutions, and businesses to practical technology and capacity-building initiatives, with projects designed for youth, entrepreneurs, adults, and seniors alike.

Its portfolio spans entrepreneurship support, digital inclusion, ecosystem programs, and collaborative projects that encourage the adoption of new tools and future-ready ways of working. Flagship activities include the annual Curaçao Innovation Award and Innovation Week, Girls in ICT Day, Startup Warm-Up Sessions, XLAB coding camps for young people, and quality assurance certification for businesses.

CITI is often the operational glue behind ecosystem activity, helping ideas move from concept to pilot to broader implementation. It works closely with schools, government, NGOs, and the private sector, in the conviction that through creativity, hard work, cooperation, and the smart use of technology, Curaçao can build a thriving, resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economy.

Based at Riffort Village in Willemstad, CITI is the brand name of the non-profit foundation Stichting Secretariaat Curaçao Informatica Stimuleringsplan, also operating under the trade name Stimul-IT.
